Reuse

Checked 21 October 2026

Acufine says Acufine may be used for more than one film. It can also be replenished.

Longer time for reuse: Four rolls at the normal time, then +2 % for each additional roll, up to 16 rolls per quart.

Capacity, as the maker states it: Without replenishment: four rolls at normal times, then +2 % for each additional roll; no more than 16 rolls per quart.

Replenishment can be continued until a volume equal to the volume of the original developer has been added. Without replenishment, four rolls of film may be developed at normal times. Increase the developing times by 2% for each additional roll. Develop no more than 16 rolls per quart in this manner.

A dash means the figure has not been read off the maker’s sheet. A guess here would produce wrong answers silently.

Suggest a time or report a mistake

Know a time for Acufine that is missing here, or spotted one that is wrong? Tell us, with the source, and a curator will check it.

  • Sources only. We publish a time only when it has been read off a primary source: the maker’s datasheet or chart. A link to it is what lets us check yours.
  • Nothing goes up by itself. Every report is read by a person before anything on the page changes.
  • No account needed. Your name and email are optional, and only to reply to you.
What would you like to send?

A datasheet, the maker’s chart or technical publication. Forums and blogs can’t be checked the same way.
