The Canon A35F is a compact, point-and-shoot style 35mm rangefinder film camera manufactured by Canon Inc. starting in 1978. Built as an export-only model primarily for the Western and Chinese markets, it features a sharp, fixed Canon 40mm f/2.8 lens paired with fully automatic, programmed autoexposure. Encased in a sturdy, handsome all-black metal body, it holds historical significance as Canon’s very first camera to feature a built-in flash.
